VIRTUAL FACE TO FACE
In 2023 the Transforming Communities: Vital Leaders and Communications committees of the Synod held a Virtual Face To Face event.
Candidates seeking a call and congregations looking for their next pastoral leader for a short "meet and greet" via Zoom to learn more about one another.

LEADERSHIP SUMMIT
The Leadership Summit is an annual event sponsored by the Synod to provide support and resources to presbyteries in working with candidates, pastoral leaders, and congregations. The Leadership Summit provides an opportunity for personal interaction with national staff as well as others doing similar work within the Synod. ART OF TRANSITIONAL MINISTRY TRAINING
Whether it is a change in leadership or a changing community, leading a congregation through change is challenging and rewarding. It takes knowledge, skill, resilience, and spiritual strength to navigate the waters of change in a way that leaders and congregations thrive.

This training is for individuals who are considering ministry in temporary settings (as an interim, transitional or designated pastor) or are experiencing ministry in these transitional times. Materials presented include the basics and best practices of transitional ministry. The training delves into navigating change, the pastor as a spiritual interpreter of transition, family systems, mission focus ministry, conflict mediation, and building resiliency.

Week 1 and Week 2 trainings are offered.
