In 2020 the Presbyterian Foundation developed The Church Financial Leadership Academy, an online training for those who find knowledge and understanding of church finances to be a challenge. It is designed to help improve financial literacy for Presbyterian pastors and church leaders and is offered free of charge. It was funded by a grant from the Lilly Endowment, Inc.  A news article about the program is linked below.

The tool is composed a series of short videos on a variety of topics, suggested policies and practices, additional resources, and a page where you can get help from a Presbyterian Foundation Ministry Relations Officer.

The Presbytery of Lehigh offered a workshop in March 2021 for Congregational Treasurers. Their webpage includes documents on best practices for congregations as well as information about online giving and on what documents to keep and what needs to be shredded. They offer a variety of other links as well.

The Presbytery of Milwaukee offers a series of resources that cover a transition time from the leaving of a pastoral leader to a variety of temporary contract forms, as well as rituals, guidelines and ethics of such transitions.
